The Best of the Best Student Art Show—now in its 27th year—returns to the Rogue Gallery and Art Center (RGAC) as an event that has proven to be enriching and exciting for Rogue Valley high school students, parents, and teachers, while bringing recognition and support to the visual arts. The Main Gallery is literally filled with artwork made by the most talented and creative students from 16 participating Rogue Valley high schools. Each participating art teacher submitted their students’ work for in-district screening, and then brought the selected work to Rogue Gallery and Art Center for judging by professional artists. Nearly 150 individual artworks including paintings, drawings, collage, illustrations, sculpture, ceramics, and woodwork will be on display beginning on Friday, April 20 with a reception from 4:00 until 8:00pm.
