Watercolor Society of Oregon Annual Convention Request for Volunteers

Editor’s Note: We did not publish this in time for the May 6 meeting noted in the call for volunteers below, however, we are sure Deanna St. Martin, the event coordinator, would appreciate your help. We apologize for the late post.

Dear Fellow Artists; Request for Volunteers

My name is Deanna St. Martin and I am a local artist in Medford; a member of SOSA and several galleries in the area.  I am chairing the Watercolor Society of Oregon Fall Convention, to be held on October, 3, 4, and 5th at Inn of the Commons and the Rogue Gallery.  We have attendance of approximately 200 artists and guests from all around the state expected to attend.  I am so pleased that the convention will be held here in order for us to showcase our lovely part of the state.

Details for the convention have been in the works for over a year now, however, I am still in need of several committee chairs to assist me in planning the show.  I am attaching a list of committee chairs that have been filled as well as the vacant spots.  Most details for the committees have been taken care of and these positions would be to organize your committee helpers and complete the tasks during the convention.  The great thing is, you do not need to be a Watercolor Society of Oregon (WSO) member to help out.

I have a detailed description of all the responsibilities for each chair and would be happy to provide them upon request; so any questions you have about what needs to be done, please feel free to call me.

There will be a meeting on Tuesday, May 6th at 1:00pm at Limestone Coffee, downtown Main St.  Please RSVP with your plans to attend.

So, this is your chance to help showcase the Medford/Ashland/Jacksonville art scene.  Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.

Artfully Creating,

Deanna St. Martin
