Tour Art in Rome, Florence & Paris

Clatsop Community College announces an opportunity for all students and community members to experience an extraordinary 11-day tour of Rome, Florence and Paris in June 2014 with group leader CCC Art Instructor Kristin Shauck in conjunction with EF College Tours.  Scheduled for June 16th – 26th, 2014, this tour will place travelers in front of the most influential and inspiring art ever produced in the Western world.

The cost of the trip includes: round-trip flight, a full-time Tour Director, all land transportation, hotels and night-train accommodations, light breakfast daily; 3 local dinners or 4 with extension, sightseeing tours, entrances to the Colosseum; Roman Forum; Sistine Chapel; St. Peter’s Basilica; Basilica of St. Francis; Duomo; Leathermaking demonstration; Accademia; Uffizi Gallery; Notre Dame; Louvre; Musée D’Orsay; with extension: Rijksmuseum; Anne Frank House. To prepare for this inspiring experience, Shauck will teach a HUM 101 course entitled “The Art of Rome, Florence, and Paris” in Spring Term 2014. The course will provide the opportunity to study the works of art and architecture in greater depth prior to the tour. There is no requirement to enroll in this class in order sign up for the trip, and there is no requirement to sign up for the trip in order to enroll in the class.
