Portland, Oregon artist Barbara Mason has created intaglio prints inspired by and
infused with the poetry of former Oregon Poet Laureate, Paulann Petersen. The bold
lines and expressive shapes in Barbara’s prints meld with Paulann’s poetic verse in a
rhythmic, musical cadence.

CALL TO ARTISTS FOR THE IRISH THEMED ART CONTEST
We invite Rogue Gallery members to submit a work of art for this event that is inspired by Celtic art and/or by Ireland. All styles and media are welcome. Maximum dimensions (including frame) are 40” x 40” and 35 lbs.
Drop off artwork during gallery hours on Tuesday, March 7, 2017. There will be awards for contest winners! Pickup will be on Tuesday, March 21, 2017. Winning pieces will remain on display until Tuesday, April 4, 2017.

Rogue Studio Life Drawing Sessions
Tuesdays, February 28, March 7, 14, 21 & 28, 6-8:30pm
$10 per session
Drop-in Tuesday evenings for two and a half hours of moderated uninstructed life drawing sessions in the Rogue Studio. Adults 18 years and older from beginner to advanced level are welcome. The sessions will include short gestures to longer, sustained poses. Students must provide their own drawing materials. Drawing boards, worktables, and easels are available for use.
Fix and Finish with Silvia Trujillo
Saturdays and Sundays March 4, 5, 11 & 12, 3-5pm
For all skill levels, Members $75, Non-Members $90
Do you have a painting that you don’t know how to finish? Let local artist Silvia Trujillo help revive your art! In this workshop, Silvia will lead an evaluation on students’ work then give individual guidance in improving and completing the artwork throughout the sessions.
The Oregon Garden is soliciting submissions for the opportunity to display at Art in the Garden 2017. Piece(s) must withstand the outdoors, be personally installed, with staff guidance, display for up to 12 weeks, and display in a freestanding format. Proposals must be submitted by March 26, 2017. This is designed to spotlight the artists in Silverton. Your studio can be inside or outside, a shed, or garage, or a kitchen table. You should be well stocked with examples of your work, business cards and even class information. 100% of all sales belong to the artist/business. Your fee allows the Silverton Arts Association to promote the tour, make Passport brochures of the tour, and to create additional signage for the artists. April Bike Rack Art Submission: There are 10 new bike racks in the city that have been made to fit Art. We are looking for 10 pieces to make prints of that will be weather proofed and mounted to the bike racks as a tourism piece and an art installation. The guidelines for the art is outlined below.
