We couldn’t be more pleased to add another innovative artistic endeavor to our directory, and discovering what’s going on in southern Oregon’s creative community is often as much of a surprise to us as it is to anyone else! This time we introduce Mark & Sarah Hannah of Ink & Oil, a design store and gallery based in Grants Pass, OR that offers hard to find design classes and workshops.

The Rogue Gallery & Art Center—southern Oregon’s premier non-profit community art center—will host the “Spirit in Hand” Holiday Boutique November 16-December 22, 2012. This is a juried show and sale of hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind gift items including fiber & wearables; pottery & ceramics; glass, metal & woodwork; jewelry; leatherwork; mixed media and upcycled & repurposed items; candles; and body care products will be considered. On Sunday, October 7th, the fun and whimsical work of local and regional artists will be featured at the Third annual furnArture event, a benefit auction which supports the Studio at Living Opportunities. Enjoy a lovely afternoon of art, hors d’oeuvres, wine, and live music. This signature event turns the ”ordinary into the extraordinary” by transforming recycled furniture and treasures into functional pieces that double as beautiful objects of art.
