Barbara Mason, Poem by Paulann Petersen, Voluptuaries, Solarplate Intaglio Portland, Oregon artist Barbara Mason has created intaglio prints inspired by and infused with the poetry of former Oregon Poet Laureate, Paulann Petersen. TIME: A Statewide Traveling Show of Oregon Prison Art 2011

Time Looking Back at Me, by Jerome Sloan, Snake River Correctional Institution

Launched in February 2011, TIME is a diverse collection of drawings and paintings created by artists in Oregon prisons. The Arts Center’s Joni King says visitors are wowed by the show. “It makes people very emotional,” said King, noting the level of talent and sensitivity demonstrated in the works. TIME: A Statewide Traveling Show of Oregon Prison Art 2011 is available for booking in Southern Oregon, November through December 2011.
