All you need to do is show up at 9am, definitely no later than 10:30am (event starts at 11am), and choose your spot to set up. There’s no fee of any sort, HOWEVER, if you sell some of your work, we request a 10% donation of your proceeds. That’s it! Call to Artists: Artist Day at Hanley Farm

You are invited to participate in Artist Day at Hanley Farm, June 14. This year we expect a significant visitor increase, as we’re partnering with the farm’s Summer Lawn Party. This means more exposure and potentially more sales for you! Participation is the same as last year – arrive early to set up. There is NO FEE. We do however, ask that you donate 10% of the proceeds from your sales to the farm.

The Summer Lawn Party is a new event, and we’re excited to invite you to join in! So plan to come out, sell your works, and enjoy the ambiance of Hanley Farm. You’re encouraged to practice your art or craft. And, if you’d like, please display works you wish to sell.

Organize Your Own Paint Out Sept 9-11 in conjunction with IPAP’s International Event!

International Plein Air Painters

With the number of plein air artists who have listed with the Southern Oregon Artists Resource recently, we believe this event will find a welcome reception with many of our readers.Though this is a Call to Artists, the event has not, to our knowledge, been organized locally. The International Plein Air Painters (IPAP) is encouraging local plein air artists to organize an event locally, and has provided these guidelines and editable press release to help you get going. In turn, we encourage all plein air groups in Southern Oregon to participate. Registration of your event with IPAP is free. Plein air painters and groups organizing Sept 9-11 Paint Outs in conjunction with IPAP’s international event, please use the planning guidelines below and notify us of the details of the event you plan so we can cover it here at Art Matters!
