CALL FOR ENTRIES: SEQUENCE

Art can be created with order or disorder; a plan or chaos. Technology-based art can embrace or ignore process in new and intriguing methods. Sequence at Touchstone Gallery invites artists or artist teams to submit works that are created with, or influenced by, technology.

Artists and artist teams are invited to submit film, video, video games, digital works, physical works created from digital processes, sound, light, and time-based pieces, performance pieces, and more. This exhibition welcomes art created with, in part by, or inspired by any digital technology.

Due to the varied nature of media expected, this exhibition will include a physical gallery show, a series of screenings and performances, and a virtual online exhibition.

The Hopper Prize Call to Artists for Artist Grant Competition

The Hopper Prize

Dear Artists,The Hopper Prize is offering 5 individual artist grants in the amount of $1,000 USD awarded through an open call art competition juried by leading contemporary curators. The Hopper Prize was established in order to increase the recognition of artwork created by artists and photographers. Our aim is to advance artists’ careers by providing them with unrestricted financial support that is coupled with a platform for increased visibility. We accept submissions twice a year via an open call.

We are currently accepting submissions for the Spring 2020 grant cycle.

Program Highlights

Total Awards: $5,000.00 USD for visual artists

Call to Artists - Discovering Southern Oregon Open Show at Art du Jour

Art du Jour Gallery in Medford calls to artists for entries to their “Discovering Southern Oregon” People’s Choice Art Exhibit coming up in March 2017. The exhibit is open to all artists. Artists may enter one art work. The entry fee is $10.

The art work in this exhibit will be numbered and visitors to the gallery vote for their favorite. A “People’s Choice” ribbon and $50 will be awarded to the winner on Friday March 31 at 10 a.m. The winning artist need not be present to win. When an art work is sold, the artist will receive the sale price less 25% commission. Sold art work may be replaced with the same size work with no additional fee.
