Judith Ghetti Ommen recently moved to the Rogue Valley from Georgetown, Texas. She has been active in the arts community throughout her life. She holds a MFA in painting, taught art history at Marquette University in Milwaukee, has served on numerous arts councils, and has exhibited her work throughout the United States. Her work includes Asian inspired landscapes and playful teapot themed works suggestive of a Chinese of tea ceremony. Incorporating Chinese brush painting, collage, pastels, and drawing in her mixed media works, she creates images of rich textures and strong designs. Her study of Oriental Brush techniques deeply

In the 2015 Annual Members’ Exhibition, over sixty artists describe their personal travels, transitions, and travails using a variety of media and styles.

The annual Members’ exhibition features work by Rogue Gallery and Art Center members and is always one of the most popular of the year. The Rogue Gallery has had a long history of supporting local and regional artists. This exhibit gives each Rogue Gallery member an opportunity to exhibit one piece of their work on the central theme of “Passages, Travels, and Transformations”. Over 60 artists are participating in this non-juried exhibit. Artists’ submitted artwork that reflects their personal experience or interpretation of the theme.
