Central Art Gallery announces its September 2022 “3rd Friday” art show, spotlighting the works of Featured Artist – Mabrie Ormes.

The exhibit will be from 5-8pm during Medford’s Art Walk Friday, September 16th. Central Art Gallery is located in downtown Medford at 101 N. Central.

Fri. 09/16 5-8pm – Art Walk (exhibition)“Over many years, I have created artwork across multiple mediums as homage to Jazz music and musicians. Throughout the process of creating an image, I aim to be as spontaneous as possible. I am always actually trying to visualize sound.

The important thing is that each work is created in the Spirit of Jazz and of musical performance in general.

Central Art Gallery in Downtown Medford invites all watercolor artists to submit a portfolio of watercolor paintings for the upcoming Third Friday exhibit on July 16, 2021. This will be a group show to coincide with World Watercolor Month.

Play Central Art's "Clue-Done-It?" Game & Enter To Win!

 

Was it Colonel Mustard? Mr. Green? Perhaps Professor Plum was the perpetrator! Something is most assuredly afoot at Central Art, and we need you to help us get to the bottom of it!

 

Using the clues we’ll reveal each day on our Facebook page during the week of Halloween (Monday – Saturday, 10/28 – 11/2), you get to use your brilliant deductive and observational skills to determine “Clue-Done-It”, what they used, and in which room the deed was done!

 

Be sure to pick up your “Detective Notes” in-store, check our Facebook page each day for a new clue, and work the case until you have made your ultimate conclusion.

 

Still stumped? Stop in Wednesday, Oct. 30th to talk to the suspects in person! Miss Scarlett, Col. Mustard, and the rest of the characters will be appearing in costume and ready for your interrogation.

Rogue Valley artist Desmond Serratore is a plein air painter working in oil, capturing urban and rural landscapes in his impressionistic style. This exhibit showcases familiar scenes from southern Oregon, from around town and out to the coast.

Desmond Serratore learned to paint working as a commercial artist.
