Guest Artist Melissa Markell

July’s First Friday at the studio features a joint show of mixed media figures and wall art by Elizabeth York and works by guest artist Melissa Markell. Melissa’s work includes a Postcard Series consisting of vintage postcards cut apart and reassembled into 5” x 4” tiny stories told in color and imagery. Each collage rests on 15” x 11” watercolor paper. Also on exhibit are her abstract canvases of acrylic paint and alcohol

This Saturday - Celebrate "The Year of the Dog"! Ashland Art Center and SO Humane

Whimsical Animal Art – Dana Feagin Art “The Year of the Dog” Saturday, June 23rd 3-6PM Ashland Art Center Join me, along with other local artists, this Saturday afternoon for art, wine, snacks and fun, in celebration of dogs! The first 50 attendees receive a swag bag filled with goodies, including an art magnet from me and a cake pop from Kat von Cupcake. Ashland Gallery Association March Spotlight Exhibits Annual Student Art Show

March First Friday will celebrate student art during the AGA Annual Student Art Show! Alongside art by well-known local, regional and national artists, galleries and businesses will feature works by budding young student artists from Ashland High School Art Department.

Join us for the Student Artist Receptions during the Friday Art Walk on March 2nd from 5 to 8 PM. There will be a variety of media on display by these creative young artists including: paintings, drawings, mixed media, jewelry pieces, woodwork, and photography. Most exhibits will be on display throughout the month of March.
