LACDA Call for Digital Art “TOP 40” INTERNATIONAL JURIED COMPETITION

Curating Jurors: Kathryn Poindexter, California Museum of Photography Mat Gleason, Coagula Curatorial

Enter our juried competition for digital art and photography. Entrants submit three JPEG files of original work. All styles of artwork and photography where digital processes of any kind were integral to the creation of the images are acceptable. The competition is international, open to all geographical locations.

The selected winner receives 10 prints up to 44×60 inches on canvas or museum quality paper (approximately a $2,500-$3,000 value) to be shown in a solo exhibition in our main gallery. The exhibit will be widely promoted and will include a reception for the artist.

Second place prizes: Ten second place winners will receive one print of their work up to 24×36 inches ($150-$200 in value) to be included in the winners’ exhibits and opening.

Show your work in our un-juried exhibit featuring digital art and photography at the tenth anniversary exhibit of this very popular program. All entries will be printed (8.5″x11″ on heavyweight paper) and shown in our gallery arranged in a grid. Entrants submit JPEG files of original work. Multiple entries are permitted. Separate registration fee required for each image.

Special consideration will be given to all entrants for inclusion in future shows at LACDA. Many entrants from past competitions have already been included in our exhibits.

Deadline for entries: December 1, 2014 Exhibit Dates: December 11, 2014-January 3, 2015

Call to Artists – World Wide Art Los Angeles

We are organizing the annual show “World Wide Art Los Angeles”, at the Los Angeles Convention Center, which will take place from 16-19 October, 2014. It is an international art show, with exhibitors and art from every part of the world. Southern California is one of the most important art markets in the world. Scheduled at the beginning of the international art fair season, WORLD WIDE ART Los Angeles will unveil a powerfully diverse collection of contemporary international art.
