Hi, Southern Oregon Friends! I’ve got a poetry announcement for those of you who love to write–or who just want to try it out. I’ll be speaking & teaching this coming Saturday, November 3, at the Willamette Writers monthly meeting in Central Point. It’s a two-part day: 10:00-12:00: Poetry of Process :: For the morning presentation, I’ll share my own process, practical tips, & poetry–including glimpses into the stages of my current manuscript–in all its messy reality. (Free for members & $10 for guests) 1:30-3:30: Delve :: During the afternoon workshop, we will all immerse ourselves in the writing process itself and emerge with a poem. Bring paper & your favorite pen or pencil.
