Main Gallery exhibit: Bodies for Billions: The Work of Miguel Aragón July 11 – August 15, Opening Reception: July 18, 5-8pm
The Rogue Gallery presents works of artist Miguel Aragon. Miguel Aragon uses his own method of layered hand drilled prints to create a series of works that address the Mexican Drug Cartel Wars. After a productive hiatus in new Mexico, respected plein air artist Silvia Trujillo and her husband have returned to southern Oregon and are now looking for living accommodations. “After three and a half months in the Southwest it sure feels good to be back in Oregon. Some folks adore the desert, but I found out quickly that it’s a nice place for me to visit but not a place for me to live.” They are open as far as the area but would prefer a rural place – something in the Applegate Valley would be ideal. They are flexible as to the type of arrangements, too: they have excellent credit and references and would be happy to rent a place on a long-term basis, but are also willing to house sit or to rent a place that’s for sale. Let’s give Silvia a warm Welcome Home and help one of southern Oregon’s artist treasures find a place to settle back in! If anyone has a lead she can pursue, please email [email protected] or [email protected]
