Rogue Gallery & Art Center will have a reception Friday, February 21st from 5 – 8pm for two exhibits; the Main Gallery exhibit: The Rogue Community College Art Department Faculty Exhibition and the Community Gallery exhibit: Celestial Horses by artist Yeh Fei Pai. The reception is open to the public.

January-February Art Exhibit + More News from Rogue Gallery!

Main Gallery

The Rogue Gallery is proud to host the artwork of the contemporary art group AMBUS. The nine artists that comprise AMBUS will be exhibiting two dimensional and three dimensional work of a variety of mediums in the main gallery from January 10th through February 14th. Artists include Darla Baack, Susan Burnes, Dianne Jean Erickson, Frieda Golding, Janet E. Higgins, Kris Hoppe, Nancy Jo Mullen, Nancy Pagani, and Alice Stambaugh. Among the works exhibited will be encaustics, sculptures, mixed media pieces, and works in fiber.

 

Having exhibited throughout the northwest, each of these artists is accomplished in the visual arts. Their work demonstrates a beauty, liveliness, and elegance in contemporary art. The theme of this exhibit is the subject of background/foreground and positive/negative, in life as well as art.
