Exhibition Announcement: Prints From The Plateau: The Works of Crow’s Shadow Institute of The Arts
Rogue Gallery is privileged to exhibit the works of Crow’s Shadow Institute of Art August 22- September 27, 2014. Reception and meet the Institute’s Master Printmaker Frank Janzen, August 22, 5:00 – 8:00 pm.
The Rogue Gallery will exhibit works from the Crow’s Shadow Institute of Art’s portfolio of prints by the outstanding group of artists associated with the Institute. Among the artists exhibited will be James Lavadour, Marie Watt, Kay WalkingStick, Rick Bartow, Jenene Nagy, and Rick Gendron. Media includes lithographs, monoprints, and woodcuts.
Located in near Pendleton, Oregon, Crow’s Shadow Institute of the Arts is a nonprofit organization that emphasizes contemporary, fine-art printmaking. They also function as a venue to practice traditional Native American art practices including weaving, bead working, and regalia
