Blue tributaries lined with sticky red clay, cascading towards the Columbia River, wind whistling through the narrow verdant Gorge, ancient lava flows creating fortress-like cliffs of columnar basalt; the dramatic landscape is what defines the Columbia River Gorge region. CCA’s April invitational Earth Wind Fire exhibition will show work that is created from materials that come from the Earth, interact with Wind, or come into being through Fire. It’s October and “something wicked this way comes.” Macbeth is set in a post apocalyptic world that will entertain in new and surprising ways.
