Dear Friends,

I’m having a “trunk show” to sell some holiday gifts and artwork during First Friday, 5 to 8 pm on Dec. 5th. My show called “Consider the Animals” is on display at Looking Glass Beads at 283 E. Main St. in downtown Ashland with art and information about the 6th Extinction and what can be done to slow it.

The gallery owners are hosting a sale for me to help raise funds to continue the advocacy and activism I’m involved with. It is my goal to gather funds in order to produce a new card deck of my environmental, social and political satire artwork.

Call to Artists: Affordable Art and Holiday Gift Show in Downtown Medford

Arts Council of Southern Oregon

In response to these economic times and to encourage people to buy locally made gifts for the holidays, the Heart of Medford Association and Arts Council of Southern Oregon are offering table space to display reasonably priced artwork at our November show in the Higher Education Center. We are looking for affordable works priced under $100, and under $200. Opening evening coincides with Third Friday in Downtown Medford; there will be a Holiday Boutique at the Rogue Gallery across the street and the Annual Gingerbread Festival at the Craterian Theater taking place at the same time, so there will be lots of shoppers in Downtown Medford!
