YOU ARE INVITED to have your art in a garden. This year the museum has eight gardens for the Art In The Garden tour. Here are the details: Dates of event: June 9 and 10th from 10 – 4 each day Art must be delivered to the garden on Friday June 8 afternoon between 3 – 5 pm Art must be picked up at the garden on Sunday June 10 between 4-6 pm You are responsible for bringing an inventory with pricing, having price tags on your art The museum will receive a 30% commission on all sales during the event. We need to know if you want to participate no later than April 20 because we want to put your name in our ticket booklet so people will know where to find you! Tuesday – Saturday 10 am – 5 pm. Free. Featuring the encaustic (hot wax) artwork of Dianne Jean Erickson. It’s almost the end of summer and school is starting soon. The museum is a great place to visit – we have great exhibits and activities and it’s “cool” inside. Our very successful classes for children end this week. We have a bit more room in the Zentangle class on Tuesday. It’s been a fun summer with kids exploring various forms of art.

We will continue adult workshops through out the fall, winter, and spring. Check below for what is coming up soon.

AND don’t miss out on our fabulous music offerings. This week we have a double header. Friday we have Daniel Boling, one of the best song writers in America. Saturday we have a string quartet from New York doing a fund raiser for Chinquapin Center for the Arts.
