(Ashland, Ore.) Each spring, the Oregon Center for the Arts produces the Oregon Fringe Festival (OFF), a multi-day event bringing together emerging creators and real-world artistic practitioners to share their respective experiences and to engage with each other’s work. The festival’s mission is simple: to provide a boundary-breaking platform for free expression and to celebrate unconventional art and unconventional spaces.

The Rogue Gallery is celebrating the 70th anniversary of American Abstract Expressionism with an exhibit in the Community Gallery, a birthday celebration reception, abstract expressionism classes, and documentary films.

This Rogue Gallery artist members’ exhibit celebrates the revolutionary mid-twentieth century art movement known as Abstract Expressionism. Among the 30 regional artists represented in the exhibit are Robert Bosworth, Linda Boutacoff, Ashley E. Clasby, Cammy Davis, Barbara Eshoo, Marilyn Hurst, and Fred Jenkins. Many of the featured artists are abstract artists, while several are known for their natural or traditional approach to artwork.
