Diane Ericson with her Red Bike Apron

The Summer Arty Apron Workshop with Diane Ericson

For cooking, gardening or fashion, the apron is a great canvas to let your creative ideas run wild. Bring trims, notions, vintage lace and linens – or maybe some old Levi’s, rolled up paintings on canvas you’ve been storing in the garage – all perfect starters for your unique apron design. You may want to include a theme, such as Asian designs or homage to a beloved pet. Fun and easy to make, participants will get three apron patterns to trace off in class. Diane will share her arty apron creations to whet your creative whistle. Diane’s Red Bike apron will be featured in the Medford Mail Tribune’s Home Life magazine for August. Diane Ericson is a long time contributer to the sewing industry, has a line of patterns, stencils and DVD’s.
