One of the co-chairs for the arts-n-crafts hill at the upcoming Children’s Festival at the Britt grounds just contacted us to say that the event is less than two weeks away and they are desperately looking for volunteers in the Pottery Booth…helping kids create a pot/bowl/vase on the wheel.

Though the Children’s Healing Art Project is based in Portland, they serve children in Southern Oregon too, so we like to share their news to raise awareness of the important work they do on behalf of sick (sometimes terminally ill) kids stuck in hospitals.
