In the midst of this holiday giving season and during “fiscal cliff” negotiations, Congress and the White House are actually considering future limits to the charitable deduction in order to help close the revenue gap. Because we know how devastating this could be to nonprofit arts organizations across the country, we are advocating with a broad coalition of charities to prevent this from happening by lobbying Congress daily, placing whole-page ads in newspapers, and engaging the media to help tell our story.
