Enjoy the beautiful weather and experience painting and drawing in the great outdoors. Get some vitamin D while painting the beautiful surroundings of Alpacas at Lone Ranch in Eagle Point, Oregon. Landscape artist Silvia Trujillo will guide you in depicting the beauty of the landscape, creating interesting compositions, and capturing a moment in time. Exhibition Description: Woman Made Gallery, Openlands, and Brushwood Center at Ryerson Woods partner to illuminate women’s voices of action and hope for the planet. Together, we invite artists to submit artwork that highly reflects personal concerns and connections to the natural environment where they live.

Dear Earth was inspired by Sibylle Szaggars Redford whose performance, The Way of The Rain, was created as a “love letter to Mother Earth.” Szaggars Redford and her husband, Robert Redford, were Brushwood Center’s 2018 environmental leadership award recipients.

The Stage as Muse: The Art of the Rogue Gallery Staff

The stage is the inspiration for this Rogue Gallery staff exhibit. The artists approached the theme using the historical works of Shakespeare, classical music, modern dramatic plays, and the experience of attending the theater. Rogue Gallery’s staff includes Rachel Barrett (Office Administrator, Database Technician & Graphic Artist) Ashley Clasby (Education & Events Manager) Kim Hearon (Executive Director) & Anna Hinkle (Program Assistant).

Fourth Friday Films, Alpaca Picnic and Call to Artists from Rogue Gallery

THIS FRIDAY, MAY 25 FOURTH FRIDAY FILMS Friday, May 25, 7:00 pm Local artists turned film-makers Bruce Bayard, Larry Lewis and Greeley Wells present the fifth installment of their Fourth Friday Films series. This Friday’s airing will highlight 3 short films by Bruce Bayard, Larry Lewis and Greeley Wells. Greeley Wells’ piece is entitled “Be Deep Into Presence” with the music of Jeff Pevar as the soundtrack.

This is the second to last of this series. The last film will be on June 22nd. Fourth Friday Films will take a break for the summer and return in October.

Films will be shown in the Rogue Studio. Attendance is free.
