In photography, reciprocity refers to the relationship between the aperture (f-stop) and shutter speed, which work dependently and inversely to capture light. It is the key to the perfect exposure.In reciprocal relationships, like in any collaborative act, ideas and conversations are exchanged, enriching participants intellectually and emotionally. It’s that time again, and the deadline is approaching fast! Time to find your angel art or create something new and submit it in response to the Southern Oregon Artists Resource 8th annual 2020 Angels Show call to artists. Here’s the application form with rules and procedures that you can download and complete, then submit with your angel art at the gallery BY NOVEMBER 25. Please include titles, dimensions and medium for each piece. We don’t ask for traditional representations of angels, though they are welcome. What we’re looking for is unique artistic interpretations of angels. We have seen some amazing interpretations over the years and look forward to seeing yours! We are grateful that once again Art Presence The City of Grants Pass, in partnership with JCT Bus and Sponsorship from Republic Services, is happy to inform you that Art in Motion will continue in 2021. Deadline for submissions is December 2, 2020 3 PM. Prospectus and application requirements. Art in Motion for 2021 Prospectus: The City of Grants Pass Committee on Public Art (CoPA) invites artists 18 years of age and older to submit original artwork in any 2-D or 3-D media with the exception of video/film, installation or performance art for Art in Motion. This public art project is essentially a gallery on wheels; artwork is displayed on 54” x 34” vinyl print on both side of one of the Josephine Community Transit buses. The art is there to engage people, expand public art visibility, create opportunities for the community to experience art in everyday life and enhance the overall artistic climate of the City
