Black, White & The Blues ~ Benefit for Grants Pass Museum of Art

THis is the logo for the 2014 Annual Black, White and The Blues benefit event for the GRants Pass Museum of Art in Grants Pass, Oregon.

Tickets are now available for the 27th annual Black, White & The Blues, a fundraising event for the Grants Pass Museum of Art. The event will be on February 15th and, as in past years, will once again be held at the Wheeler Toyota showroom in Grants Pass.

TICKETS: Available at Options for Southern Oregon, 1215 SW ‘G’ Street, Grants Pass or purchase online at www.optionsonline.org (click Events; then click on Empty Bowls link; scroll to bottom of page), or call Ellen Johnson at 541.476.2373. Tickets are $25 each and should be purchased in advance.

 

FUNDRAISER BENEFICIARY: Options for Southern Oregon, Josephine County Food Bank, and the Gospel Rescue Mission. Proceeds will benefit the elderly and families in our community.

 

The seventh Empty Bowls event in Grants Pass, Oregon will again be held at Parkway Christian Center located at 229 NE Beacon Drive in Grants Pass on Monday, October 14th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Guests choose a handcrafted bowl and are then served a simple meal of soup and bread in a handmade bowl they select and keep as a reminder of hunger in our community.

Caprice Vineyards Announces Chopin by the Vine Benefit Event

Caprice Vineyards will become the setting for “Chopin by the Vine” on Sunday October 7th. They will bring the Concert Piano sounds of Anna K. Rose performing selections of Frederic Chopin, the fine art of Pegi Smith, the fine cuisine of Chef Jay, and Caprice Vineyards fine wines together for an evening of sensory entertainment. The event, benefiting the International health-care/health-education organization “Project Helping Hands” (PHH) will also feature a short presentation by PHH Founder/Executive Director Jeff Solheim.

On Japan Night, almost 200 guests showed up to enjoy Japanese cuisine/culture and support our cause. With generous support from local community, $16,072.00 was raised from ticket sales, silent auction and other donations. Japan Night was a big success! We are sincerely grateful for your support.
