MASS MoCA’s artist residency, the Studios at MASS MoCA, has partnered with the Ford Family Foundation to support another year of fully funded residency fellowships for Oregon visual artists. Applications are now open for The Studios at MASS MoCA’s Summer/Fall 2022 artist residency season. Applicants are eligible who: 1. Are currently practicing visual artists2. Have lived in Oregon for the past 36 months3. It’s a Win-Win Medford First Christian Church Call to Artists Deadline January 30, 2019 for March 15-17, 2019 Show Medford First Christian Church calls to artists for participation in an art show and sale to raise money for their church and its many outreach programs on March 15-17, 2019. This includes their Thursday night dinners, food bank, preschool, and community garden. You can make money and assist them at the same time. They will promote the show within their church and through social media and press releases to radio, TV, and newspaper, and follow up with calls to all free mediums. Leland Iron Works Artist Residency located in Oregon City, OR. The residency is run in collaboration with the Pacific Northwest College of Art on the property, home, and studio of sculptor, Lee Kelly. We have mainly had residents local to Portland apply and we are hoping to branch out and get applicants outside of our area. There are 5 funded ($2500 stipend) month long residencies for mid-career and established artists and 4 free month long residencies for emerging artists. The City of Grants Pass has recently renamed City-owned parking lots with a wildlife theme and has placed City-branded wayfinding signage in an effort to improve the appearance of downtown and enhance the tourist experience. As part of that effort, the City has committed to place art in each of the lots. The Committee on Public Art (CoPA) is seeking an artist to commission for 2018 at the Salmon Lot, located at the intersection of NW 5th St. and I St, adjacent to the Napa Auto Parts store.
