Hot Palette: Dianne Jean Erickson August 4th – September 15th, 2017 Dianne Jean Erickson is a painter, printmaker and encaustic artist producing works of art both personal and universal in their nature. “Each day working in my studio I start not knowing what image will emerge. I allow myself the freedom of indecisions, improvisations, and impulsiveness in my work, and that leads to exciting discoveries. Subjects of my encaustic (hot wax) work are non-objective and figurative painting and printmaking.” The exhibition highlights her encaustic paintings and encaustic monotypes. Her artwork is of a figurative and portraiture nature, with a whimsical series exploring head gear. This exhibition is sponsored by Wealth Management Group of Oregon.
