The Studio at Living Opportunities is hosting its Holiday Art Show and Sale Thursday, December 6 from 4:30 – 7:00pm. Please join us for an evening of music and refreshments! One of a kind art, calendars and note cards will be available for purchase.

The editor, who also curates the art exhibits at the GoodBean Cafe in Jacksonville, Oregon, was pleased to show paintings by the artists of the Studio at Living Opportunities in December 2010. Below are a few shots from the reception. Director Dan Mish has done a wonderful job working with the artists – both in teaching them new techniques, encouraging them and building their self-esteem, and in marketing their work. Some artists have work hanging in the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, DC, and all the work is lively and colorful. SLO events are fun and meaningful – and do so much for the artists – please save the date and give them a wonderful show of support and encouragement!
