All needleworkers/embroiderers are invited to join Southern Oregon Stitchers, the local chapter of Embroiderers’ Guild of America, on March 19. We will be having a potluck and making Easter Hats – Bring: paper cutting scissors, one piece of thin cardboard (like a cereal box or back of notepad, preferably w/o writing if your fabric is thin/see-through, or else bring white paper to cover it), 1or 2 gallon milk carton tops (the more you have the more hats you can make), pen/ pencil (to mark fabric, light pencil/ marker if you have dark fabric), fabric scissors, sewing thread to match fabric, sewing supplies, embroidery floss to use on your fabric, embellishments (buttons, ribbon, beads, lace, sequins, etc) that you might consider/play with adding to your hat. Bring extras to share if you got them). Or, just sit and watch and stitch on your own project.
Guests are welcome at 11:30 am. Central Point Presbyterian Church, 456 W Pine St., Central Point, Contact: Liz at 541-488-4082.
