SOAR Welcomes Masterpiece Christian Fine Arts Foundation & its 2012 “Envision” Conference

We were delighted to hear from Jeanne Randall of the Masterpiece Christian Fine Arts Foundation last week and just posted new listings for the non-profit organization she heads, the Masterpiece Christian Fine Arts Foundation, and its annual artists retreat and conference, with a 2012 theme “Envision” for its May 30 – June 2 meeting. Please note that registration for their 2012 conference is now underway and visit their listings for a complete collection of links and contact information.

Realizing that we live in a sight and sound driven culture, Masterpiece Christian Fine Arts seeks to “go into all the world “, through the means of visuals. The chosen vehicle is exhibits in major cities and public places of master works of fine art created by lead artists, both historic and present day, which convey God’s love, truth, beauty and plan for redemption. We seek to give hope to the lost, encouragement to the fellowship of Believers, and through workshops and conferences to equip emerging artists for the glory of God.

The paintings of Rembrandt… the fine churches, the music of Bach… Handel’s Messiah… all testify in this secularized age that Christianity once did mean something… Quite without realizing it, these people, the patrons, the artist and the Christians in those days, erected signs for another age that the Lord had done great things in the world.
– H.R. Rookmaaker in Art Needs No Justification

We think He’s still doing great things…..
