silvia Trujillo Teaches Techniques in Palette Knife Painting at Rogue Gallery March 5

I will be teaching a workshop on Techniques in Palette Knife Painting at Rogue Gallery in Medford, Oregon on Saturday, March 5th, from 10am-4:30pm. This class is appropriate for all skill levels, so don’t be shy—join me for a fun day of painting with the palette knife!

The direct approach of applying paint to the canvas with a palette knife was very popular with the Impressionists, and of particular interest to artists like Van Gogh and Monet. Painting with the palette knife can render luscious texture and depth while maintaining rich pure colors.

In this class, you will develop skills in palette knife painting to enhance your work in value, design, and color harmony.

$130 members, $145 non-members ***
partial scholarships available

Rogue Gallery & Art Center is located at 40 South Bartlett St. in Medford, Oregon 97501. Click here to download the materials list. Click here to register for the workshop.  See you there!
