Silvia Trujillo – Back to Teaching and Art

I’ve been thinking about you, and sending you all well wishes during these most unusual and challenging times.
Obviously, I have not been teaching (except for a few online critiques), but missing it much. I hope you have found the inspiration, time, and effort needed to continue to produce art in whatever form that has taken for you. I’ve managed to do several plein air works, and a studio piece here and there. Also, I  completed a commission of a pet portrait. See the attached examples, and tell me if you recognize any of the locations 🙂
Artist Attic/ Scrappy Craft is now open, and I can resume Wednesday classes. Of course there will be precautions, sanitation, and distancing measures being taken. We want everyone to feel safe! If you are a returning student please let me know if you will like to return on Wed, May 20 , and I will reserve a spot for you. The class size is limited. If you are new, and would like to join the class, let’s see what kind of arrangements can be made. I will do my best to accommodate you!
Are you on Instagram by any chance? Some of my time has been spent getting familiar with that, and I’m finding that it is a quick and easy way to keep my art and art related info out there without too much of a time commitment. It also links to my Facebook page. The links are below. Let’s connect on these social platforms if we haven’t already done so. I will love to keep in touch with you that way! The plein air works are posted there, including a photo of the location, and the painting in progress. It’s pretty informative, so check it out.
If you would like to join in any of the plain air sessions, I believe we can manage that in a safe way. All the while, I will be helping you learn the wonderful art of painting from life and on location.
