This fun-filled, “ARTrageous” event will take place at Kids Unlimited in Medford, Oregon (821 N. Riverside), beginning at 5PM. All proceeds raised will support visual arts education for all ages and art exhibitions for artists in the Rogue Valley and beyond.

This year’s Annual Benefit Auction will feature a gourmet dinner by Quality Catering, wine from Weisinger’s of Ashland, and music by renowned guitarist Jeff Pevar. Each table will be decorated by a local artist who will create a unique visual theme. Participating artists include: Margie Mee, Joe Dunbar, Pat Holton, CW Smith, and Ilene Gienger Stanfield.

Come support the RGAC and bid on getaways to Portland, Sonoma, California, Durango, Colorado and more; smudge pots by The Crew; fine art by Bruce Bayard and Barbara Eshoo; a tour of Rogue Valley Manor residents’ art collections; and restaurant gift certificates. Eugene Bennett 1971 oil painting titled “Quicken Tree” will be auctioned to the highest bidder.

In recognition of the 10th anniversary of September 11, 2001 events, a raffle is being conducted for the famous photograph “Firefighters at Ground Zero” which is on display at the Rogue Gallery & Art Center. This photograph of dust-covered firefighters raising the U.S. flag as they stand against the gray and white landscape of the devastation of the World Trade Center instantly became a symbol of the enduring American spirit. It was reproduced on the cover of Newsweek magazine. Raffle tickets are on sale now at the Rogue Gallery & Art Center. You don’t have to be present at the auction to win.

Tickets for the ARTrageous Dinner and Auction are available to the public at $51 per person—to commemorate the Gallery’s 51st birthday—with advance reservations only. Please visit or call 541-772-8118 to purchase your entry to a fun evening in support of the arts.
