Nancy Jo Mullen, “Making a Choice”, Collage

     The illustrious Nancy Jo Mullen delights us with a retrospective of her acclaimed artistic career. A former Executive Director of the Rogue Gallery & Art Center, Nancy Jo has been creating art since she was a child. This exhibit includes Nancy Jo’s work from over four decades.

     The Rogue Gallery is honored to present this retrospective of Nancy Jo Mullen. Her work includes various forms of printmaking, encaustics, and collages. Many of her works are engagingly playful and rhythmic, while others maintain a playful dance in an elegant composition. All are a delight for the viewer.

     A natural born artist, Nancy Jo Mullen’s creative energy began when she was a small child and has continued throughout her life. Nancy Jo studied Drawing & Painting at Otis Art Institute/Parsons School of Design and the University of Kentucky. She holds a Master of Fine Art, Painting, and Printmaking from the University of Oregon. She was a printmaking instructor at SOU. Nancy Jo was a featured artist on PBS Oregon Art Beat. Her work is in the permanent printmaking collection at the Portland Art Museum. Nancy Jo has been active in the Rogue Gallery & Art Center for five decades serving as the executive director, board member, board president, and teacher for youth and adults.

Nancy Jo Mullen will be at Downtown Medford’s Art Walk on October 21, 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. and will give an Artist Talk about her work on October 22, 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

The Rogue Gallery & Art Center is a non-profit community art center, founded in 1960 to promote and support the arts in the Rogue Valley.
