News and Announcements from Bohemia Framing and Fine Art!

We are so pleased that Zach Ehlert of Bohemia Framing and Fine Art recently listed the gallery with SOAR! We extend a warm welcome on this cold, almost snowy day to Zach and Bohemia. We hope you’ll take a moment to see it yourself and give him a welcome of your own by visiting all the links and liking the gallery’s Facebook page ~ Please see the gallery’s listing HERE, and a listing for his framing service HERE. We just heard from Zach and learned that Bohemia’s website is being redesigned and will soon have an RSS feed which will send updates straight to Art Matters! to share with you. For now, we’re stoked to be able to share these announcements from the gallery’s newsletter:

Vintage Etchings and Photogravures

Right now we’re showing a wonderful collection of vintage artwork created by true masters. Etchings from as far back as the 17th century (Roelant Savery and Allart Van Everdingen) and photos from the early 1900s (Steichen, White, Coburn, Seeley). Local artist Robert Beckmann has pulled these from his personal collection and made them available for public view and purchase.  MasterWorks runs through March.

New in the Gallery

Hydrogen Jukebox
Jim Spiri is a man of many talents. Trained in architecture (Carnegie-Mellon) and photography (Pratt Institute, UC Santa Cruz), Jim is now creating one-of-a-kind furniture from used or found wood, steel and other materials. We have two of his pieces at the gallery, including one made from a saguaro cactus. Photos don’t do these justice, they need to seen to be appreciated.
New Giraffe

Hilarey Walker creates wonderful ceramic masks born of her passion for animals, ancient cultures and art. She recently stopped by the gallery with some new creations.
