New Workshops at Central Art Supply!

NEW Workshop Series: Expand Your Creative Potential!

Roni Marsh and Cheryl Magellan present a new workshop series, 'Expand Your Creative Potential' in August 2019

Join Roni Marsh and Cheryl Magellen as they guide you through various processes and techniques of painting with the goal of expanding your creative potential. Unlock the secrets of illustrating with markers by entering the world of Copic! In this comprehensive intro class, you’ll learn the proper “care and feeding” of your Copic markers to keep things running smoothly (such as cleaning and refilling), as well as some basic blending, shading and textural techniques to give style and realism to your artwork!

 

No matter what you’re into, Copics are a fun and incredibly versatile color medium that has been used in the fashion, architect, automotive and comic book industries! First debuting in Japan in 1987 with 71 colors, the line has expanded to 358 colors and several different marker styles!

 

Stay tuned for Part 2 (TBA), where you’ll delve deeper into the creative potential of these amazing alcohol pens, and create a full illustration of your own using the tools and techniques from Part 1!
