Darla Baack, Sun and Moon, Stained Glass

This beautiful exhibit features works from three Northwest artists; Kathy Morawiec, who paints loose, lively, colorful flowers, Vera Melnyk, who produces mosaic of complex textures and patterns and Darla Baack, who creates luminous works in stained glass. The Rogue Gallery & Art Center celebrates Downtown Medford’s annual Art in Bloom Festival with an exhibit that features the beauty of spring. Stained glass by Darla Baack is luminous and meditative in its representation of the nature and the heavens. Vera Melynk’s bold abstract mosaics shimmer and reflect from the varied colors of stone, minerals, and glass she has acquired from her travels.    Kathy Morawiec paints large floral paintings that are as fresh and lively as the flowers they depict.
