IN THE BERRYMAN GALLERY Exotic and Remote: Photography of RC Vasavada January 31 – April 2, 2019 Ravindra C. Vasavada, Virginia Canyon, Emigrant Wilderness, CA Ravindra C. Vasavada photographs nature on his hikes in Alaska, Chile, California, Colorado, Nepal, Norway, Oregon, and Tibet. His photographs capture the mood of each region, its simplicity, beauty, grandeur, and immensity. The Berryman Gallery is located upstairs at the Craterian Theater. Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at the Rogue Gallery! The Rogue Gallery celebrates the Art of Celtic Tradition with art, food and traditional Irish music. The evening includes: Irish food and beer Musicians performing traditional Irish music including “Pat O’Scannell and Friends” A singing competition to select the best rendition of the Irish classic, “Danny Boy” with the winner receiving a $100 award An Irish themed art show with awards given to the “Best in Show” ($100.00 award) and “People’s Choice” ($50.00 award) The Irish tradition of good cheer and laughter At the Rogue Gallery, 40 South Bartlett, Medford, Sunday, March 17, 2018, 5:30 – 7:30 pm *Be sure to purchase your tickets early. The exhibit runs March 8–March 22, 2019. Drop off artwork March 1 & 2, 2019, pickup March 22 & 23. For two-dimensional work, maximum dimension in either direction including frame is 40 inches. Focused 6 Week Life Study with the Figure and Still-life Winter Series: Mondays, February 4- March 11, 9:00am-12:00pm This moderated, uninstructed study session will concentrate on the nude human figure and working with still life. Adults 18 years and older from beginning to advanced levels are welcome. Moderated by David Terry and held at the Rogue Gallery studio. Model poses will include short gestures and longer sustained poses. Attendees must provide their own materials. Drawing boards, worktables, and easels are available to use.
