Nelson Sandgren; Eugene multiple panel mural

The piece depicts landscape images from around Oregon. Nelson was a dynamic painter at all scales and one of the great painters in our recent past. In Oregon you can see more of his work at the Portland Art Museum, the Hallie Ford Museum in Salem, the Karen Clarke Gallery Art Annex and online at his website.

I don’t have photographs of two of the larger panels because they are close to fluorescent lights that prevented my taking quality images. Most of the panels are bathed in natural light.

Hannah West of Southern Oregon Artists Resource had requested that I post these, thanks to Hannah for prompting me.
