Michael Lynn Adams is the artist speaker at the Ashland Art Salon, held in the Ashland Public Library, October 28, 2-3pm. Adams’ luminous still life and figurative oil paintings reflect his deep appreciation for beauty and simplicity found in everyday life. He will be talking about his background, his life as an artist, and share thoughts about why and how he creates his art. Several of his still life, floral and figurative paintings will be on display at the Salon.

Adams’ award-winning paintings have been exhibited in numerous international and national shows including, Salon International, Oil Painters of America National, and California Art Club Gold Medal exhibitions; and are in private and museum collections across the United States. In 2012 Adams co-founded The Representational Art Conference (TRAC), the premier international conference focused on the philosophical foundations of contemporary representational art.
