Help Us Obtain An Art Trailer To Teach Kids In Our Community

Parks & Recreation Department
Sarah Garceau, Recreation Coordinator

Central Point, OR – October 31, 2011 – Central Point is in the running for $10,000 in this month’s Pepsi Refresh Everything contest!

The $10,000 would be used to purchase an enclosed trailer that would be jammed pack with items needed for various art projects. The Central Point Parks and Recreation Foundation and staff from the City will work closely with the Arts Commission to ensure that a variety of quality art related activities are continually offered.

The Arts Trailer would be used regularly at local events, Central Point parks, and may also be available for day visits to local schools. The goal of the trailer would be to reach out to as many children as possible to teach them about different types of arts.

All we need from you is your vote! If you value the arts, then please support us by visiting www.refresheverything.com/centralpointarts. You can also text in your vote to 73774 (Pepsi), just type in “109450”.

Don’t forget to vote every day thorough the month of November!
