Mount Shasta, CA — The Grand View Fine Arts Society is participating in the 4th Friday Art Walk in April and having their first annual Art Show and Open Gallery featuring the oil paintings of 40 local artists on Friday, April 26 from 4:00-8:00 pm and Saturday, April 27 from 10:00 to 5:00 pm at The Gallery Experience Room upstairs in The Gallery in Mount Shasta.

“We received entries from artists that rival paintings exhibited in Carmel,” said Stefan Baumann, the director of The Grand View Fine Arts Society.  “The quality of artistry and talent found in Northern California and Southern Oregon is amazing.”

The artwork exhibited includes a variety of themes including landscapes, still life, animals, and human figures carefully painted to touch, move, and inspire the viewers who come to the show. Kris Baxter, a member of The Grand View Fine Arts Society said, “I am excited that the Mount Shasta Chapter of the Grand View Fine Arts Society is having an art show this year so we can share our artwork and studio experience with the community.  We have friendly and talented people who love painting together, and we look forward to meeting you and sharing our enthusiasm for the arts.”
You are invited to attend a reception in The Gallery Experience Room upstairs in The Gallery in Mount Shasta on Friday, April 26th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  The Gallery is located in the Bear Building, 201 Mount Shasta Blvd, in downtown Mount Shasta.  The show will also be open on Saturday, April 27th, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for your enjoyment.
