Calls to Artists for October 2017 and Beyond

This collection of artist opportunities includes international shows, juried exhibitions, calls for proposals, a call for elementary students’ art, an art festival in Indian Wells, and a writer’s retreat in Iceland. Themes include botanicals, animals, endangered species, photography, taste & smell,  teachers against prejudice, art inspired by the novel Frankenstein, portraits (this one is for members of the Portrait Society only). They have been briefly reviewed to ensure eligibility of Oregon artists. Deadlines start at October 8, 2017 and extend through March 16, 2018

Contemporary Art Gallery Online announces their 4th Annual International 2017 “ALL Abstractions” Art Competition. Competition opens September 10, 2017 and closes October 7, 2017.
