Call to Artists for Artworks Northwest 2018

The Umpqua Valley Arts Association (UVAA) invites artists of all media to submit artworks to the annual Artworks Northwest Juried Art Show and Competition. Artworks Northwest is a regional juried art show of work by artists from the Pacific Northwest (Northern California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Alaska, British Columbia, Western Montana, and Western Wyoming).

Open to all media, themes and genres.  Exhibit runs May 4 – June 24, 2018

Submission deadline is March 9, 2018; entries can be submitted Online through Café (callforentry.org). Go to uvarts.com for more information.

This year’s juror is Andries Fourie. Fourie is a South African-born curator, artist and teacher. He has a Masters in Art from California State University, Sacramento, and a Masters of Fine Art from The University of California, Davis.

Cash Awards:

  • $1,000 1st Place
  • $500 2nd Place
  • $300 3rd Place
  • $200 J. Lynn Peterson – Hundred Valleys Award.
