The Japanese Association of Southern Oregon (JA-SO.org), formed a non-profit organization after the earthquake/tsunami hit Japan March 11 of last year. JA-SO is looking for Artists who want to donate their work (100%) to JAPAN NIGHT’s silent auction. All proceeds will go directly to fund children in Fukushima, Japan, who are still affected by radiation poisoning.

We would also like to invite all interested people to attend JAPAN NIGHT for an evening of Japanese Cuisine and Culture on Sunday March 11, 2012 at the Ashland Community Center. Please join us at JAPAN NIGHT to raise money for the Children in Fukushima Japan who are living under the threat of radiation everyday. Please see below for more information.

There will be a Silent Auction, Tohoku Earthquake Exhibit, Sampling Japanese Food, Wine and Sake,Tea Ceremony, Sakura Bon Dancers, Southern Oregon Trombones, and a Koto Performance by Mitsuki Dazai.
Japanese Restaurants and Wineries from the Rogue Valley will be providing the food and beverages.
