Call to Artists - Discovering Southern Oregon Open Show at Art du Jour

Art Du Jour gallery logoArt du Jour Gallery in Medford calls to artists for entries to their “Discovering Southern Oregon” People’s Choice Art Exhibit coming up in March 2017.  The exhibit is open to all artists. Artists may enter one art work. The entry fee is $10.

The art work in this exhibit will be numbered and visitors to the gallery vote for their favorite. A “People’s Choice” ribbon and $50 will be awarded to the winner on Friday March 31 at 10 a.m. The winning artist need not be present to win. When an art work is sold, the artist will receive the sale price less 25% commission. Sold art work may be replaced with the same size work with no additional fee.

The entry should be 22 X 28 inches or smaller including the frame. The work must be for sale and be the artist’s original work. The art work should be framed or have finished or painted edges. The work must have a stable hanging wire across the back.

Please bring your entry in on Friday Feb. 24 or Saturday Feb. 25 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Pick up your entry on Friday, March 31 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

To enter the exhibit, come by the gallery or mail this completed entry form with a picture of your art work and a check for $10 to Art du Jour Gallery 213 E. Main St. Medford, OR 97501. We will send an email or call you when your entry is registered in the exhibit.
