“Ocean Falls”

Darcie Sternenberg specializes in black and white imagery and she is presenting a new show called Ocean Falls at The Photographers’ Gallery At The Ashland Art Center during the 1st Friday Art Walk on July 7th.

Ocean Falls was created during a storm at Cape Perpetua on the Oregon coast.  Every click of the shutter brought forth an entirely new and unexpected relationship between water and rock as each new wave pounded the shore.  In searching for more intimate scenes, small waterfalls were found, present for a second at a time and then gone.
