Hanley Farm

Opportunities for Artists in 2015

Hanley Farm have many events planned this year, beginning with our annual Heritage Plant & Garden Fair in May. At many of these events, the Hanley Farm Mercantile is open. The mercantile stocks a variety of items for visitors to choose from, including hand-crafted toys, historical books, quilts, etc. Sheila Whitesitt, Mercantile Manager, hopes to expand the inventory to include original works by local artists, such as yourselves. Perhaps you have works painted at the farm, depicting the Spring House, Barns, Gardens, or Hanley Farmhouse, historic Willow Tree, etc.? If you are interested in selling and showing your works from the mercantile, please e-mail Sheila at [email protected]. She will provide details, commission rates, etc. I’m so pleased we are able to extend this offer to you, and welcome your participation!

Plus, a heads up! June 20, 2015 we’re hosting an expanded artists event at Hanley Farm Artists Day & Crafts Fair.  In addition to you wonderful and talented artists, we’re extending our invitation to include crafters, such as leather-workers, wood carvers, quilters, and more. Also, many other activities are planned, including hay-rides, music, food, house tours, etc.  I’ll be sending more information to you as we set out to put this event together.
