Dear Friends,

Rogue Gallery & Art Center December has announced their Member’s Exhibit, “Smaller than a Breadbox”, with an Opening
Reception Friday, November 18 at 5 – 8:00 pm
. This unique show opens today, November 11, and runs through December 23, 2011, spotlighting the artistic talent of Rogue Gallery & Art Center members. The public is invited to a free celebratory Opening Reception on Friday, November 18 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. The exhibit is made possible through the generous support of the Rogue Gallery & Art Center’s Board of Directors.

”This second annual members’ exhibition, Smaller than a Breadbox, will showcase the breadth and depth of talent of our members,” explains Rogue Gallery & Art Center’s Executive Director, Jules Masterjohn. “From those just beginning their artistic practices to those who have dedicated their lives to perfecting their skills and creative voices, the walls of the Main Gallery will be vibrant with a multitude of visual expressions related to food! We are inviting the community to feast on and partake in the varying forms that artists create.”

I have a painting in this show that no one has seen unless you’ve been in my studio in the past two weeks.  Do come to the Opening Reception on November 18th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM and take a look!  There are over 40 artists that have a painting in this exhibit.
In addition to this exhibit (which runs through December 23rd), I will have a new painting in the Porter’s 2nd Annual “Impressions Of The Depot” beginning January 8th which runs through March, 2012.
Also… With arrangements through Southern Oregon Artists Resource and Hannah West, Coordinator,  I’m mounting a one woman show that will run for the Month of January, 2012 in The Good Bean Company coffee house, Jacksonville, from December 30th through January 31st.
In addition I will be starting up a new round of watercolor classes and drawing and sketching classes beginning January 17th (eight weeks). If you are interested, or know someone who might be, let me know right away.
Whew!!   And you thought I was retired!  Apparently I have found a new resource of energy!  Just goes to show … I’m not as old and tired as I look… or am I?
I hope to see you soon!  Meanwhile,
Happy Thanksgiving!
Love, Pat
